How to Care for Your Chasen:

• First Time Use: Before whisking your first bowl, gently submerge the bamboo prongs into warm water for a few minutes. This allows the beautiful, curled inner tines to bloom and expand.

• After Each Use: Rinse thoroughly under warm water (do not use soap) and let it air dry completely with the prongs facing down.

• Care Instructions: Hand wash only. Do not put it in the dishwasher.

• Pro Tip: To keep the delicate shape of the bamboo from flattening out, we highly recommend storing your whisk on a Chasen Stand.

• Note: Because it is crafted from natural bamboo, a Chasen is a consumable tool. We recommend replacing it once the prongs start to lose their shape or split over time.
